Raghunath is…Ex-punk, ex-monk, husband, father of five, inversion ambassador, bent on Bhakti, detox junkie, evolution assistant, coalesced by kirtan, cacao consumer, puranic story teller, reciter of Gita, potential excavator, beyond birth and death. He is prana hunter, animal friendly, transcendence in training, born to give - to live today; full contact fighter, devours durians, loves to chant, likes a challenge, servant of the servants, harmonium hugger, conscious of Krishna.

Raghunath born Ray Cappo was a Lower East Side hardcore-punk singer songwriter icon, touring the globe in his teens. In a decadent music scene infested with hard drugs, negativity and intoxication he was an anomaly and a light propounding clean living, positive attitude and vegetarian lifestyle, inspiring tens of thousands of fans internationally. Since his youth he was fascinated with Eastern thought and took his inspiration from Emerson, Ghandi, Thoreau, The Buddhist Sutras, The Bible and the Bhagavad Gita. He started practicing yoga in NYC in 1987 with the esteemed Sri Dharma Mittra as well as Shivananada Yoga. The pettiness of the business of music and the untimely death of his father led him to India in 1988 where he dove deeper into the lifestyle and spirituality of India. He became a celibate monk at a Krishna Bhakti Ashram for 6 years where he intensely studied, meditated and lived the ancient yogic texts. In 1991 in the sacred village of Vrindavan he was awarded the name Raghunath and two years later in that same holy town awarded diksha or the sacred thread, for his study. Now, 23 years later, he's an accomplished yogi in many styles, and married with five children. He leads retreats, workshops and yoga teacher trainings around the world. He is an expert at taking the esoteric yoga philosophy and making it understandable and practical for the contemporary world.

A heart of Bhakti yoga is interwoven through it all, making her classes approachable and lighthearted, without lacking depth. I fell in love with Yoga after my very first class with Heidi Ruehlmann somewhere around 1998 and am blessed to be working with her all these years later at the Mountain Breeze Yoga studio. I received my teaching certification in 2008 from The Hard & The Soft Yoga Institute with Beryl Bender Birch.

My classes are alignment based, fun artistic expressions that combine various styles and techniques of yoga woven together with the transformative power of the breath. Students are encouraged to move from where they are, go inward throughout the practice, and fully explore with gratitude all that is.
As a teacher one can have many hours of instruction on the teaching and learning of yoga, but the best experience comes from spending time on your mat, exploring the mantra of breath, and moving your body with the intention of deep listening. I am inspired by the limitless places one can go.

Steve Cosimano began yoga practice at the age of 20 under the guidance of Paramahansa Yogananda with the Self-Realization Fellowship and began Taoist practice in 1993 with Master Mantak Chia. Since that time he has continued to learn different energy healing practices, in gratitude, from various teachers. His main concentration is in Medical and Spiritual Qigong, Neigong and Longevity Practices. As a form of gentle exercise, Taoist Yoga or Qigong is composed of efficient movements that are typically repeated; strengthening and stretching the body, increasing fluid movement (blood, synovial, and lymph) and improving balance. It is suitable for all age groups and all physical conditions. Qigong, Tai Chi and Bagua Practice creates an awareness of and influences dimensions of our being that are not part of traditional movement exercise programs. Classes provide general healing practices and individual practices to improve posture and respiration, reduce stress, induce the relaxation response, cause favorable changes in blood chemistry, and improve self-awareness and concentration. Research suggests that Qigong may be beneficial for Asthma, Arthritis, Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Pain, and a wide variety of common ailments, while revitalizing the endocrine system, and reprograming the Body/Mind for continued health, longevity and spiritual development.

I have been a Spirit Seeker for most of my life. I will spare you all the details of my life journey but will share with you how I came to commune with the stars.

After 3 years of healing and learning with the sacred plant she let me go and guided me to the stars, she took me outside on a cold December night and pointed my eyes to the night sky. I had no relationship to the stars and constellations at the time. I just know on that night I received a lot of information from the Orion Constellation. I did my research for the next few days and realized the information given to me was true and it was ancient, ok so now at this point I was kinda freaking out. I went out and bought a telescope so I can further look into the night sky. I spend countless cold nights on my NYC rooftop observing the brighter objects, planets and moon. I later moved into a darker sky site and started taking astrophotos and developed a love for the ancient fire side stories of the cosmos.

It wasn't until my life started shifting again that I tried to figure out what's happening by looking at the planets and constellations they were transiting. I found myself confused when the astrology websites gave forecast that didn't match what I was observing with my telescope. I was even more shocked when I started asking my astrologer friends if they also saw this discrepancy through their telescopes. None of them owned a telescope or have ever looked through one.

There was a time when Astrology and Astronomy was one science, one healing art of self realization and akashic wisdom. What happened? This is now my journey, to restore this missing link between us and the stars.

Bringing the stars to my people and my people to the stars.

Teela Hammell

Teela grew up in a tiny river town in the driftless region of Northeast Iowa, though she's spent most of the last ten years in Ecuador. Six years ago, a bout of Bell's Palsy left half of her face temporarily paralyzed. During this experience, Teela heard the voice of her body for the first time and was overcome with a felt sense of her own animal wildness. Suddenly, she had access to an infinite amount of wisdom that had been available in her body her entire life. From that point on she's been guiding others toward a greater sense of embodiment and communion with the voice on their own innate, wild wisdom through yoga, Wild(her)ness coaching, Reiki, international retreats, and "soul-shaking" immersion experiences.

Teela's main objective is to welcome her students back into their own skin. She teaches body awareness, but more than that, she teaches body love and loving the present moment, just as it is. Through a blend of vinyasa-flow yoga and trauma-releasing techniques, her instruction allows students an opportunity to clear a space inside of themselves big enough for their truth to bloom into. Her students leave class feeling more whole, alive, free, and worthy of the space they take up.

She has a background in trauma-focused psychology, crisis counseling, and is a +500 Yoga Instructor with more than ten years of yoga experience.  She's the founder of Wild(her)ness, a movement connecting as many women as possible with their own wild roots.

Together, she and her partner James create an immersive, body-awakening experience, sure to drum up some divine inner wisdom from the long-muted depths.

James Fleischmann

James fell in love with the drum as a child.  He played professionally and toured nationally for eight years before leaving the music scene to travel the world and experience new cultures.  Upon his return, he went headlong into the business world, climbing his way up the corporate ladder to Vice President of a prominent Chicago-based technology company.  And that’s when everything changed.

He realized he had achieved his dreams and felt completely unfulfilled.  Worse, he felt numb to the world and to himself.  After a series of jarring experiences, James left the corporate world and looked inward.  His journey eventually took him to South America, where his passions were rekindled and he encountered the ancient traditions of shamanic drumming and sonic healing.  At last, the many facets of his life came together and he answered the call.

After unwittingly using the drum as a form of self-healing for 26 years, James founded Resonada and began working with sound in a new way.  The primary intention he holds in his work is to reconnect himself and others with something long forgotten and essential - the primal self.
